If there’s one thing I was looking forward to in the law exam, it was the entertainment to be found in the questions themselves. They are, very simply, sheer ingenuity.
Sometimes I wonder if Zen set the questions as such just to steer us off course – strike out the unimportant bits and all the dialogue [...]

Overheard
I can’t believe it’s Imperial students who’re talking. Yes, they’re Imperial ‘cos one of them had that red lanyard dangling ’round his neck.
Student 1: “So John Howard is the Prime Minister of..?”
Student 2: “New Zealand, I think”

Guy Fawkes
Penny for the Guy? Fireworks shoot at Battersea over the chilly Thames on Saturday; didn't meet the photog-who-shoots-the-Queen from last year. They changed the position of the launches! The fireworks used to be right above the bridge. This year… they’re a bit too low and hidden for my liking. Bah.
Climate change rally
My camera never stops clicking. The past weekend: The "I Count" & People and Planet carnival, the largest environmental rally the UK has ever seen. It was quite a big thing within my department too; a group did set out, but unfortunately Xi and I didn't manage to contact them while we were there, 'else [...]
The Imperial Collection
I covered a charity fashion show last night – again, a first in my photographic exploits. Kinda exhausting to shoot under pressure, what with horrid lighting, the need to do split-second technical tweaks and expectations from other people… but nevertheless I think I have some decent shots. Wouldn't call them superb, but as long as [...]
